Ways of Working
What it's like to work together

This work is collaborative and experiential.

I hold the container and guide the process, helping you learn how to connect with your own inner knowing and guidance in a grounded way. Over time, you build that relationship yourself — both in session and in your daily life.

You can think of it like learning to ride a bike. At first, I offer structure, pacing, and support. As you gain confidence and clarity, the work becomes less about guidance from me and more about trusting what you’re learning to sense and respond to on your own.

The goal is not dependence, but steadiness and agency.

What sessions involve

Sessions are designed to help you slow down and go inward.

I use practices such as guided imagery and shamanic journeying with a hand drum to support access to a quieter, more receptive state of awareness — a place where inner knowing and guidance can be perceived more clearly.

These practices are not about escape or performance. They’re ways of shifting attention so you can listen from a grounded, regulated place.

My approach is informed by training in Depth Hypnosis, along with other contemplative and embodied practices. These influences shape how I hold the work, support integration, and prioritize grounding and discernment — rather than defining a fixed method.

What arises in session comes from your own experience and perception. My role is to help you stay oriented, present, and supported as you explore.

My role

My role is to guide the process and hold the container for the work.

I don’t interpret your experiences for you or tell you what your guidance means. I don’t make decisions on your behalf or position myself as an authority over your inner life.

Instead, I support you in:

  • staying grounded and regulated

  • learning to discern guidance from other inner signals

  • making sense of what you experience in ways that feel meaningful and usable

  • integrating what you learn into your everyday life

I work alongside you as a guide and companion, not as a translator or intermediary.

Your role

Your role is active, but not demanding.

You don’t need to have special abilities or prior experience. What matters is curiosity, openness, and a willingness to go inward and engage with what you encounter.

This is not a one-time experience or a sightseeing tour. It’s about building a relationship with your own guidance and learning how to live in conversation with it over time.

Between sessions, the work continues through reflection, practice, and integration into your daily life.

When this work may not be the right fit

Like any relational work, this approach isn’t right for everyone.

This work may not be supportive if you’re looking for someone to fix your life, provide answers on demand, or take authority over your decisions.

It’s also not a substitute for mental health care, and it’s not designed for people in acute psychological crisis or active addiction.

The people who tend to benefit most are those who are seeking connection with something unseen — and are willing to take responsibility for engaging with that connection thoughtfully and over time.
